Amy Bellcourt

Bio

Amy Bellcourt is Vice President Communications for Essity’s global, $3 billion Professional Hygiene business. In this role she advises leaders, ensures business strategy is understood by employees, works with Essity’s sustainability efforts, leads internal communications and builds Essity’s external reputation. Amy also works closely with Essity’s NGO partners such as the United Nations Foundation and the Global Handwashing Partnership.

Now in her 15thyear at Essity, Amy works across a broad, global matrix on topics ranging from branding and sustainability to public affairs. She sits on the Professional Hygiene Leadership Team and on the global Essity Communications Leadership Team. She started with Essity working from a tissue mill in upstate New York and over her time at Essity has led communications across the Americas, including in South America and Mexico, before taking on her current role which includes Europe, Russia and MEIA.

Highlights of her time at Essity include being part of the team who worked on the name change (from SCA to Essity) – including ringing the bell at NASDQ, leading the Brazilian and North American Essity activations as part of the Volvo Ocean Race and traveling around the world to meet with colleagues from many backgrounds.

Amy has worked in a wide range of industries, including in advertising, new construction, healthcare and travel and tourism. She has degrees from Syracuse University and Northwestern University in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications.

In her personal life, she has raised a son and a daughter, is active in local community events and political campaigns and loves to garden and craft for relaxation. She and her husband also found time to travel before the pandemic and look forward to that again!

Valerie Burd

Bio

Valerie Burd serves as the Senior Vice President and President of ABM’s Education Group, an $850 million business. She is responsible for driving the strategic growth of the K-12 and Higher Education segment across all geographic markets in the United States.

Valerie has over 20 years of experience in facilities management and worked for Tishman Speyer Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, and CBRE before joining ABM 15 years ago. In her previous role, Valerie focused on leading the Strategic Accounts Group and worked on process management and delivery of standardized services within ABM’s Business & Industry Group. Valerie also previously served as Regional Vice President of the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, managing an expansive footprint extending from Manhattan to Maine. Capitalizing on her background and experience on both sides of the facility services partnership, Valerie was responsible for handling the labor and customer challenges of the country’s largest real estate market in New York City and overseeing over $600 million in business for ABM. Valerie graduated from Galway Regional Technical University in Ireland and is currently a member of BOMA and CREW Network.

Stephenie Henderson

Stephenie Henderson is the Director of Sales of Strategic Accounts for Stretch Films and Institutional Can Liners for the Engineered Materials division at Berry Global. Stephenie manages a team of sales personnel, driving toward corporate financial and volume goals. Prior to her current position, she has been in the flexible film industry for over 15 years, holding positions of Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager at Berry Global and Pliant/Phenix Marketing, which Berry acquired in 2009.

Stephenie honed her leadership skills during her coaching career at multiple Division I programs; University of Notre Dame, Loyola University Chicago and Michigan State University.

She began showcasing her work ethics and leadership talent as a collegiate All-American and standout athlete at Western Michigan University, where she was inducted into the Western Michigan Hall of Fame in 2011.
