Sheila Wenger has been working with students and parents for 25 years. She is a high school French teacher, volleyball coach, PCI Certified parent coach, and mother of twins. She has been both a stay-at-home mom and a working mom. As a parent coach who is acutely aware of the particular challenges of parenting in our fast-paced, high-demand society, she has helped many families discover what works best for them and attain greater fulfillment in their family lives. She has aided families in balancing work and family life, screen-addiction, sibling rivalry and competition, entitlement issues, fair division of labor, parental self-care, and many other topics so many of us face.
Sheila earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland in Secondary Education with a focus on French and English and her Master’s degree in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College. In 2006, she became a PCI Certified Parent Coach through the Parent Coaching Institute at Seattle Pacific University. She later became the lead instructor for the Parent Coaching Institute as well as a working parent coach.
